Heck, that woman named Henson from Empire needs to be put in her place. She claims to have known the bird first? No you didn't crazy woman! Snuffy knew him first long before she was born, from the season premiere for Season 3 back in November of 1971 when his eyes were the outwards-pointing cones that made him look like an even scarier alien creature! The kind of creature known as a Leveler from the planet Neptune where his feet can crush a human into squicky street pizza!

Well, to be fair, I can see how this would creep some people out, especially people who don't watch the show very often. I mean, he's a a guy in a gigantic costume. Not to mention, he has moving eyelashes and eyes, which the other Muppets don't. That mixed with the dramatic angles and slightly unsettling music in the background.

Imagine how they'd react to Snuffy as he looked when he first appeared!
