I just saw King Arthur yesterday. I feel that it was entertaining after you get through the first half hour which didn't make sense. I almost fell asleep. It's very gloomy, I don't recall a smile out of anybody the whole 2 hours. Watch if you want, the cgi is cool, camera changes too much. Overall, 6/10, good but still worst movie I've seen in a while.

I don't watch movies too often. I don't waste my time if I'm not too interested, I went on Monday as something to do, and Guardians of The Galaxy was sold out. I'm sure that's a good one.

So Wonder Woman was this weekend's big winner, though Captain Underpants came up a little short and was DW's lowest opening film even when taking inflation into account, though I don't expect the loss to be too great seeing how it's CanCon. Baywatch, on the other hand, slipped down to #5 after being in #3 last week.

In 1st place this weekend is Cars 3 at around $53 million, while Wonder Woman is still going strong and the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me has turned out a solid 3rd place showing. But The Mummy slipped into 4th from last week, which was number 2 before.

Cars 3 did pretty well considering how panned the second movie was.

This should delight anyone who can't stand the Bayformers movies: Transformers: The Last Knight opened much lower than past entries, and even worldwide it's the lowest-grossing film so far. China will obviously save it, but even there it opened weaker than the 4th film.

Correction: Transformers 5 did open higher in China than its predecessor, but we've yet to see how much it will make total.

On the bright side, this one is officially Bay's last Transformers movie. So, maybe the next writer can do something better with it. I really hope whoever they hire is a longtime fan of the cartoons and really respects the source material.

A couple weeks back, the Nostalgia Critic did a "review" of T5. And I put that word in quotes, as he did it before actually seeing the film considering how repetitive and predictable they are.

I wonder how right the Critic really is now that it's out? Here's hoping for a follow-up where he does actually review it.
