I agree. It has sucked for me ever since I first started using it!So because YouTube's subscription system has sucked since 2013, I had no idea Schfifty had uploaded this one until two months after the fact:

I have good news for you all. D'Snowth just told me that he should be getting a capture card sometime soon. Whenever that happens, he will rip the episodes and then PM them to me so I can watch them and complete the Muppet Wiki guides. I will be sure to keep you guys updated by replying to this thread when that happens. His copy of 3968 is uncut so I will be able to fill in the missing segments for that episode as well.D'Snowth has 3966 and 3968. Hopefully he will uncover them someday.

Well to answer your question, YES! Elmo has been popular ever since Kevin Clash took the role of him. Most people like myself like Elmo's World because of nostalgic feels. That's why A LOT of people ask you if you would upload some classic Elmo's World episodes on Youtube. Most of them are hard to find nowadays.I'm a bit more surprised why Elmo's World videos get enormous amounts of views in a short time. I mean, even an unpopular channel or a spam account could upload a video with "Elmo's World" in the title or description (or just have anything with the word "Elmo" in it), and it would get like 10,000 views in less than a week. Are people just obsessive about Elmo or something?
BTW, the Girl Talk sketch is now on YouTube:
