But get this: Michelle Bachmann is like the biggest idiot on the face of the planet . . . as if her comments about kids shouldn't watch THE LION KING, "because the music was done by a gay man," weren't stupid enough, now she's urging all American Christians to not vote for Clinton, because otherwise, that will lead women of America being sexually assaulted.

Which of course means voting for someone who has a history of sexual assault.

Well I'm Independent. Both parties have their share of selfish jerks, lol. Either way this election turns out, I have no intention of celebrating.
I know you've never been the lesser of two evils type, but to me anyone is better than Donald Grope. I'd rather have 4 more years of Dubbyah. If he was running on the Democrat ticket, I'd for freaking sure vote Republican.

So basically the choice is someone who kinda lies about a few things and likes money from lobbyists (in other words every politician ever), and someone who's not accountable on anything and has no redeeming values whatsoever. If you have a candidate backed by Neo-Nazi organizations, there kinda is a greater of two evils. Even the Republican party itself is completely screwed up about this. They're either finally getting the message they should have intervened and kicked his butt out of the primaries at the risk of him running third party and splitting the vote, or still clinging onto someone they don't like and defending all his disgustingness because they're afraid that the brainwashed minions won't vote them back into congress. This should be funny. It isn't.

If it's true that the Electoral College hands this to Hillary, then we can breath easy as mediocrity is still better than horrible. I'm sure Congress will still suck and make sure nothing gets passed, and give Hillary the blame like they've been doing the past 8 years. Even if you believe Drumph will be a powerless figurehead and Pence will handle everything. Yeah... Pence is kinda a far right fundie, as in homophobic as heck. I personally think that Kane was a friggin idiot at his debate not bringing up Pence's multiple failures in his home state. He's probably more dangerous because he's competent.

You know, I completely forgot what the most horrifying thing about Drumph is. Looking past all the everything utterly completely terrible about him, the one scariest bit of him came back this weekend. He cannot take criticism, and will discredit anyone who dares speak ill of him.

I'm talking about the fact that SNL dared to make fun of him, leading him to aggressive aggressively tweet about how the show is unfunny and should be cancelled because he didn't appreciate Alec Baldwin mocking his easy mockability. For the record, yeah, I'll give him this much. It was unfunny because all the jokes were obvious and the late night comics already said them, but that's not the point. This is a guy running for public office that has absolutely no sense of humor about himself that's a bully that can dish it out but can't take it. Now think very hard about what's been said about every president since you were alive and old enough to understand what was going on. Every political figure gets smack talked and parodied, and for the most part, they manage to shrug it off. Clinton, Bush, and Obama alone have so much crap talked about them, regardless if it's deserved or not. But none of them have called for the cancellation of two series because they dared make fun of a public figure. And frankly, yeah... he should totally go after the show that basically gave him an egostroke (I really wanna say something more apt, but it's R rated) in an unfunny episode that came off like a dictator controlling comedy shows. SNL basically had him come on, wrote a jokeless skit about how great he was, and now he's whining because the show makes fun of him because he's a friggin political candidate.

Again, this should be funny, but it's too real. Let's forget all the fearmongering garbage and his uber-entitlement because he's a celebrity and that gives him carte blanche to grab women in places that would get him put on a sex offender list. He wants to censor media that dares criticism him. That is the most horrific dictator trait, and no one's bothering to point it out.

Drumph's always been that way: he can always dish it, but he can never take it. Case in point: remember his whole "Birther Movement" by trying to intimidate Obama into releasing his birth certificate to prove he was born in America and therefore an American citizen? Drumph, at one point, even tried to bribe Obama with a million dollars if he would release his birth certificate. This, of course, became fodder for the late night comics, but Bill Maher took it a step further by mocking the whole situation by saying he would offer Drumph a million dollars if he released his own birth certificate . . . Drumph did, and demanded Maher pay him, which Maher refused because it was all a joke to begin with . . . so Drumph took Maher to court to get him to pay him.

And it's not like Drumph needed the money anyway - he's got more than his fair share and then some.

In good conscience I can't vote for either candidate. I won't vote against them either.
People sacrificed their lives to protect my freedom to vote, something not enjoyed or recognized in other parts of the world.

Time to write in for Ralph Nader!Again!!!!
That solves my moral dilemna. How about yours?

As I said previously, I'm unfortunately being forced against my will to vote, and again, on the grounds of voting for the lesser of two evils.

Not even bothering to watch the Presidential Debate tonight. I don't particularly care to hear anything that either candidate says anymore. I was considering voting for Hillary at one point, but now I just see it exactly like D'Snowth does: which is the lesser evil?

As I sit here listening to Wings' greatest hits and finishing schoolwork, I've realized that at this point, I would rather vote for Paul McCartney as our next President over Trump or Hillary. H*ll, I'd even vote for Joe Walsh if he ran again (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Walsh#Running_for_office). But of course, we know that's wishful thinking.

Joe Walsh would've gotten huge support just based on his platform "I never lied to the American public".
Trump might have set a dangerous precedent. Anyone CAN run, but Kanye West is threatening to run in 2020. Let's see him debate with Ted Cruz.

Speaking of Cruz (remember him?), back when Trump first announced he was running, Cruz made the biggest stink that Trump had to sign a pact endorsing whoever won the primaries. Trump won, and Cruz reneg'ed on his commitment. The same one he wanted Trump bound to. But Cruz swears he's a man of his word. Time will tell.

I repeat. When one of the candidates is a xenophobic, womanizing, self aggrandizing, multiple bankrupt, flip flopping, Hitler playbook using, immature, internet troll, Russian puppet, spoiled daddy's boy who keeps threatening to censor the media if they dare say anything against him, there clearly is a greater of two evils.

There's a difference between how we got both candidates. Hillary only got to where she is because older Democrats felt really really bad that Hillary keeps losing the nomination and they totally think the American people are ready for her now. That is, despite the fact Bernie was polling in safe and sound territory against every Republican in the primaries, and the fact the GOP was sabotaging Hillary since they totally knew that's who the Democrats would have picked all the way back in 2012. Meanwhile, the Republican nominee got there because the dangerous vocal minority who are completely out of touch with reality really hated the fact Obama got elected, banded together, and pushed the more relatively sane candidates away until it was either far right Cruz who actually is a far right politician or "says anything to get crazy people to vote for him" Trump.

The nominees, in short, got here because of one candidate being in their well meaning, but lacking sense bubble, the other because of the kind of people that post horrible things on cat videos because that's the death knell of their relevance.

This election scares me for multiple reasons. Not the least of which is voter apathy. The "nyeehehhh I don't like either of them" crap. Hillary is hard to like, I agree. That's why I didn't vote for her in the primary, and that's kinda why I've been afraid since 2012 that she'd run in 2016. She's a weak weapon against the Republicans who have been spending decades destroying the Clintons, despite the fact the Clintons are kinda conservative. Any other Democrat and Drumph would be further behind in the polls. I'm not saying there aren't major problems I have with her, but they're nickle and dime stuff compared to the manifestation of the pure hatred running against her.

There are warning signs all over that horrible people are getting relevance because everyone else wants to stay out of it. Look at the Brexit vote. It didn't win because all of England is full of hateful, fearful, entitled morons. No. It won because the hateful, fearful, entitled morons were the only ones energized to go out to the polls, greatly outnumbering a thin minority of those who realized that such a stupid vote would destroy the country's economy. The youngsters didn't care, the undecideds were ignorant of what damage could be done, and now they're paying for it as well. The racist idiot that's the governor of Maine was elected twice because of the lack of urgency to vote for a sane individual and the multiple, awful, unqualified indie candidates. The "blacks and latinos are filling our precious white neighborhoods with opioids, then raping our women for good measure" guy. Notice a pattern?

Think of it this way. You're not voting for Hillary, you're voting against Drumph...and an anti-vaxxing overly liberal schmuck that even Captain Planet would be nauseated by and a pot head that has no idea how government works or what other countries are. You've got all these dangerous extremist views gaining traction and becoming mainstream. Why wouldn't you want to prevent that? Oh yeah... the person running for president that isn't a poisonous, ill prepared, egotistical, fake billionaire deleted e-mails. Yeah. Exactly the same.

Totally agree with you. It's hard to fathom how people can even think Hillary and Donald are even on the same plane. Donald Trump has an encyclopedia-length collection of scandals ranging from the embarrassing to the criminal, while Hillary Clinton mishandled some emails and was cleared by the FBI in an eternity-long investigation. Everything else doesn't really hold water. I'm in a minority in that I'm a big Hillary supporter, but I can admit she definitely has flaws in how she comes off and a sometimes over-reliance on keeping things private and secret. No candidate is perfect, but it's not close this election season.
