This has been boiling up a bit for me.

I honestly think that the defining moment of this presidential race is when Hillary called out half of Trump supporters as deplorable homophobes, xenophobes, racists, and misogynists...and getting crap for it. Now, it was absolutely stupid to say this because by now she should have known there is a gaping double standard between Republicans and Democrats that was exacerbated in this election. Of course, she shouldn't have said it, but...

...she's absolutely right. Maybe not so much about the "half," but when you have a bunch of primary voters that hijacked the Republican party from relatively sane and reasonable candidates for a venomous sociopath who basically spits out the worst of the far right's rhetoric because they feel they lost their country because of years and years of far right talk radio and Fox News. And in some cases, crazy conspiracy theorists online. I'm pretty sure some Republicans agree that they've lost their party to unsavory people who hide behind "we're poor working class families" when they have despicable beliefs. Ones that share them on social media, especially inappropriate places like Cheerios commercials.

And if the fact that Drumph has been known to be backed by various hate groups, and that a large number of his supporters violently dispatch with protesters doesn't get you, then certainly some of his name supporters should. Alex Jones backs him. Someone who's roughly a parody of a tin foil hate wearing Doomsday prepper that still has his Y2K supplies in the basement, but sincere about it. And the Latinos for Trump guy is basically Latino Uncle Ruckus. I have no doubt that if it hadn't been for Trump, this would have all been a coronation ceremony for Jeb.

I get that there's always been a hypocritical double standard in partisan politics, but this just infuriating. What do you expect when the same emotionally manipulative ultra entitled types love saying how Obama is Hitler, who fall for actual Hitler-ian political manipulation tactics? Not saying that the Democratic party is free from racists, but they never make it an issue. What I especially love is how the right was able to jump on Hillary's comments and say that it paints her as an elitist.

Uh...hello?! Her opponent is someone who has had and lost and gained again so much money, that has been synonymous with success, who had a freaking reality TV show and merchandise based off of it, who has been able to marry various trophy wives and dump them... yeah, but he's not elitist because he talks like a spoiled 8 year old bully at someone else's birthday party who can't stand the thought of not being the center of attention and especially the thought that none of the presents are his. You can't start off a political campaign making general sweeping comments about Mexicans and Muslims to race bait a bunch of horrible people and get to complain that the opposing side passive aggressively calls half of your supporters names. ESPECIALLY if you call all her supporters names first. It's that oft told bully tale. He can beat the heck out of the kids, give them swirlies, give them demanding nicknames that will haunt them for life, but don't you DARE stand up for yourself or he'll start puppy dog eyes and crocodile tears at the teacher so the victims can be punished.

That said, I love how Mike Pence did the whole puppy dog eyes and crocodile tears when he gave the whole "working class Republicans are all poor salt of the Earth and you shouldn't say anything bad about them" spiel. You're friggin running mate wants to be Putin's bang buddy.

On the other hand, this is why this is the most frightening election ever. Both candidates are self inflicted wounds. On the one hand, a bunch of nasty Tea Party types are part of the reason Trump became the nominee, but having over a dozen candidates (most of them were grotesquely unqualified) come in with the same vague plans the party keeps swearing will work with slight differences also bit your campaign in the butt. Meanwhile, I really really didn't want Hillary to run. If Hillary got the nomination in 08, we would be looking at Empress Palin's third term. She didn't, we were saved from that trainwreck of a human as a vice president because we had an exiting politician running for the Democrats for a change. I don't dislike her, but know that the Clintons have so much baggage that the negative advertisements write themselves. Why do you think Begahzi was a huge scandal when dozens of embassy attacks happened under Bush with no repercussions? The right knew the Dems would have her run in '16, and were pre-sabotaging them. Between that and suppression of voters through pointless legislation they pretty much said was to suppress minorities that vote for the left, it's painfully obvious their plans for Bush 3: This time Iraq will TOTALLY work, You Guys are blowing up in their faces. They deserve Trump. Just...we don't.

I love how Hillary is untrustworthy because of a bunch of e-mails and the foundation is somewhat sketchy, but the mountains of scandals Trump's sitting on are just punchlines in a comedy news show. The only reason a disgusting candidate like Trump isn't waaaaay behind in the polls and falling more every time he opens his mouth to say something even more despicable is because the Clintons are great at screwing things up themselves. And for whatever conspiracy the Dems have for favoring her over Bernie, the blame rests on the older Democrats that seem to think she's Susan Lucci and she's been somehow screwed out of being first woman president. I really was pushing for Bernie. Not so much that I think he'd be able to deliver on any of the wild promises he was making, but because every darn poll showed that he would have beaten Trump by a landslide, where as even then Clinton was in the margin of error at best. AND that a large enough amount of his supporters would support Jill "Anti-Vac nutjob that believes Wi-Fi is mutating kids" Stein, thus taking away vital Clinton votes, thus giving Trump a bigger lead. And you know that if he becomes president and horrible things happen, those *&^%in' Indies will whine the loudest about it while simultaneously saying "I'm still glad my head was so far up myself that I supported a spoiler to prove a point." You know, just like they did when Bush went to war.

So essentially, we have a race between someone that's unspeakably terrible and "ehhhh. I don't like her that much either, so they're both exactly the same." AND that's the underlying frightening concept. Any other Democrat and Trump would be double digits behind in the polls. If you think Trump's going to be a disastrous president that's a threat to the country, you kinda have to vote for Hillary. Swallow your pride and suffer the 4 years before the next awful Republican Reboot.

The other evening, I spent quite a bit of time picking up litter from our portion of the neighborhood, mainly because I got sick of looking at it, and nobody else was doing anything about it (heck jerks, we have trashcans along the side of the road), and that was all well and good . . . but then this afternoon, a neighbor decided to mow their yard (and why is beyond me, our yards have been dead for weeks now because of this drought and prolonged summer heat), and in doing so, he mowed up the litter that was in his yard, the shreds were blown out of his lawnmower, the litter got blown around in the breeze and cars passing by, so now there's trash all over the road and in everybody else's yards again. People in this neighborhood are so lazy that they can't bother to physically pick up trash out of their yard before they mow!

I've walked through crappy neighborhoods where the ground was covered in garbage. There's this one that every quarter mile radius of a Target, there's Burger King, McDonalds, and even fast food places that aren't even in that area, not to mention toy boxes (the really big ones too) clearly purchased at said Target and...swear to God, a freaking diaper once or twice.

It's like, "Hey! I don't live in this area, so *&^% everyone else."

Republicans have always been disgusting, but my God, they're sinking to an all-new low level of disgusting: they keep using these shootings as opportunity to spread their usual bigoted and racist venom. How many times this week alone has an unarmed black person been killed by a white cop? And as these events have been unfolding, the Republicans have been jumping on the chance immediately to make the situations even worse with their race-baiting propaganda. Drumph has decided that slavery, Jim Crow laws, and the Civil Rights Movement never even existed, because he's saying, "black people have never had worse in this country than they do now;" then just a day later one of his staffers went on record saying, "black people hate white people because white people are successful and they're not;" followed the next day by another Drumph staff member saying, "racism didn't even exist in this country until Obama took office;" and now here's Faux News saying all of this is the fault of white people for "wholesale importing" black people into this country in the first place.

Mere words cannot describe how absolutely disgusting this hate-filled party really is. I mean to say all of that **** in the wake of these unarmed black people being shot by white cops, resulting in BLM protests and the revenge-killing of white cops is the lowest of low.

So much wrong with this I don't even know where to start. Just, UGH, Trump, how I hate you.

Now that i've got that out of my system, if Obama stirred up racism, than clearly you were already racist, ya' dumb hole! And what's with white people complaining about us being in this country anyway? THEY'RE THE ONES THAT BROUGHT US HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

I just, I just, eerfwrfterwftweklwjugiwopiuwt 9805uy98whjigthuhfrt, just eight years of dealing with this, I think my brain is shutting down.

And funnily enough, after Obama won his first election, a bunch of these right wing nutcases were like, "Uh, well, yeah, we did vote for him, but only because we didn't want to be racist."

But I agree, eight years of this probably wasn't even worth electing Obama into office, because ever since he did, it's all been a giant, one-sided blame game for anything goes wrong in this country. Mass shootings: d'oh, Obama's fault! War in the middle east: derp-derp, Obama's fault! Even when Bristol Palin got pregnant out of wedlock again and Josh Duggar molested his sister: Obama's fault.

I seriously almost don't even want to live in this country anymore. We've somehow deevolved into a country of whiney school kids who get into schoolyard brawls with everybody.

On the subject of corrupt, probably racist cops:

I've said it before. There's a problem, one that can easily be fixed by just having a conversation, looking into said problems. And also as I've said before, it's a conversation only one side wants to have. Now I don't know if it's just racism, just American Exceptionalism, or a mix of the two. We need the conversation, we need both sides to come together, we need actual solutions. And above all, we need to actually punish cops with something more than paid leave. That's free vacation, not a punishment. At least fire them.

To me the problem isn't just so much unarmed black men getting shot, it's the lack of accountability on the part of police officers and stupid people with a history of violent outbursts with guns pretending to be police ignoring direct orders from the police. The George Zimmerman case only had the verdict it did because some alpha housewife bullies the rest of the jury (half a regular jury, mind you) into her belief system. That set this all off. Lack of accountability, idiots being in charge, the Justice Dept. refusing to persecute anyone for favoritism. But the thing is, this has always been going on, we just have a 24/hr news cycle and the internet to blow things out of proportion. Things get emotional, rather than rational, and all the subtly gets thrown out the window, leading the public to turn on the protesters, making everyone even angrier and things still can't get done.

Speaking of which. Eh...is it just me, or do only the left wing protests ever get broken up violently by the police? You never hear of Nazi Rallies or White Power getting broken up by police action or turning violent. Either the cops are waaaay too afraid of them or even hateful bigoted wastes of society know that they'll hurt their cause if they go violent. The Tea Party was funded and all its stomping grounds were rented by said big money supporters, so that doesn't count.

On Republicans getting worse:

First of all, I never really liked their party. Even I think I'm overly harsh on them for the most part because there are some that are only on the party's side because they hate their tax money being wasted (which I disagree with in reasons I won't get into). But I've always said there's a fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats. The right willfully panders to and accepts the far fundamental extremists in its own party, while the Democrats want everyone to love them, except for their own extremists. Something they've been doing for since forever. Again, if the Evangelicals had their own third party, there would go a good enough chunk of their own base that even the un-duh-cideds couldn't help them out of. So basically the Republican Party is made up of Neo-Conservatives (Nietzschians who only care about getting as much money as possible at the expense of others) and far righter types that know that voting a third party with their values would let the Dems win, and of course reasonable rational people concerned with government waste...that don't seem to mind when their party does it. The Dems are not even truly a liberal party, so much as a more liberal than conservative party. Like warm tap water is closer to being cold than boiling water. Their liberals vote for third party vote splitters like Jill Stein and Ralph Nader, then whine even louder when the right wing guys come into power. Ones that will fill up facebook and tumblr with "OOooh I hates dat Trump" memes, but will be absent on voting day, only to post even more "Grrrrr, dat ol' Trump" memes when he wins instead of partially taking responsibility for refusing to vote against him. Also, they stay at home during state gubernatorial and congressional elections, but whine when those dinks vote on bathroom and religious "freedom" bills.

As for Drumph, he comes from 8 years of "Obama is a Nazi" Alt-Right message boards and facebook groups, which in turn come from the obvious "news" sources. Once Obama even was mentioned as a possible presidential contender, racist freaking crap broke out all over the internet. My favorite? The "Lordy, I shore do love Campaignin'" meme. Then the Tea Party which was founded as a "hey! Neocons are worse than Democrats at spending" counter-Republican started up. And while they were strongly in just the Ron Paul movement that the media overlooked, once Obama got in, they turned into the "forget what we stood for before, let's just hate on the fact a liberal's in office" movement, letting undesirables and racists join, and it turned into the hateful, self-righteous, funded by big money, "we're not all racist, entitled scumbags, you Libtards are soooo mean," "Any bad thing you can say about the politician we don't like on various levels of dangerous sounding," Anti-Obama group they became. Then they embraced the whole Birther thing that, frankly, came out of a couple of d-bag conservatives spreading an unfunny and racist as frag joke as truth.

And from what I can gather together, Drumph joined the Birther Movement out of his usual aggressive aggressiveness (as opposed to passive aggressiveness) because he didn't like the idea of a politician making him pay taxes, became a conservative, and ran as a Republican, getting far by exploiting the same hateful morons who believed everything Alex Jones and Glen Beck ever crayon scribbled in a manifesto. None of Drumph's plans are even original. He just bought wholesale into the worst talking points the right always spit out, but because he didn't use code words and innuendo (not that kind of innuendo) that right wing politicians usually use he's "authentic" and "not P.C." (which I have the longest of rants about PC, but I don't want to get into that now, either). And yes, screw him, screw his supporters, screw the P.R. men he sends to talk shows...but

*&^$ the *&%^$ing Media that let him rise to power. *&^% SNL for letting him on their show, *&^% Jimmy Fallon for letting him on his show. &^%$ Fox News, &^%$ CNN, &^%#$ MSNBC. They fell for his trap of saying something nasty, doing something nasty, and then spending hours reporting on it, only to let whatever real disqualifying, incriminating stuff slip through and be forgotten. Only the &*^%ing comedy shows actually bother to go into detail about how his campaign is a Ponzi scheme that takes money from doners and puts it back into his hotels and his spoiled, even stupider kids. And no one's paying attention to that because in the attempt to be even handed and balanced (well, not Fox News, though, even they find him repugnant sometimes), the three whole scandals plaguing Clinton are forced back down everyone's throats. Taking the e-mails that were only an issue because Bengahzi was a thing, the fact her donation traded favors for money supposedly (at least the doners got something out of it, unlike the Trump "University" medicine wagon scam), and the fact she had Pneumonia when she visited the 9/11 memorial (something she would have got crap for if she stayed home and rested anyway), get repeated ad nauseum, while none of Trump's actual crimes and barely legalities actually stick. But because we can't stop talking about him, he hasn't the need to pay a dime for attack ads. He'd probably charge a Super Pac to his own company to fart one out on the cheap anyway.

Well, that Tulsa cop actually was charged with manslaughter and had to surrender herself to the police department.

But I do believe she was released on bond, so I guess she's still getting away with murder (literally).

That said, I do agree with you on one thing. I'm fed up with this country. I shouldn't be. I really shouldn't be, but I am. It's clear and obvious that barring any miracle of any kind, Drumph is going to win. He's going to win because the massive amounts of incredibly stupid, entitled, culturally irrelevant, spoiled, peaked in high school, uneducated, Facebook news meme liking, conspiracy theorist nitwits bloating over the country to vote for someone who's just as braindead and or completely insane as they are, only they didn't have rich Dadsy-wadsy to bail them out. The kind of people who love to say racist statements because they completely and totally believe that they have to pay taxes to fund the minorities on the welfare system, but TOTALLY freaking use welfare themselves. Ones that want all the same government entitlements they b&^% about for themselves and screw everyone else because they're the heroes of their own story.

Seriously. I'm not saying Republicans are dumb. I have the utmost respect for those who are disgusted their party turned exactly into what the liberals have been calling them for years. I...I honestly can't even hate on the Bushes anymore. This election has made me fully appreciate Dubya. He may have been an ill-informed spoiled rich daddy's boy, but he was a polite, respectful spoiled rich ill-informed daddy's boy. No...I freaking amend that. I LIKE the Bushes now. The party has since Obama was even announced embraced the vocal minority of crazy idiots when it was working to their advantage has been hijacked by those same tin foil hat wearing goobers that would otherwise write in Ron Paul or Lyndon LaRouche if they could even bother to get out of their Y2K/Zombie Apocalypse/"I believe everything Alex Jones Says cuz I don't have a mind of my own and spook easily" doomsday compound to bother finding a polling place.

I can keep going on about how much I hate the poorest, D-grade gettingest, losing jobs to 20th century technology-est, blaming everything on people they don't agree with because nothing's every their faultiest, but frankly that's not even who I'm angriest at now. Who am I most ticked off at? Well, 2 specific groups.

The *&^%ing Democrats, specifically the older ones and feminists and their freaking Hillary Clinton. The ones that are oh so blind to the fact that she was a terrible choice to run in any election without the slightest bit of freaking self acknowledgement or botheration to look outside their own freaking bubble to realize that she's an unliked candidate with so much political baggage that the Republicans spent years exploiting because they knew she was going to run again. The whole "oh, America's oh so ready for a woman president. You go Girl!"/ "She's like the Susan Lucci of politics. Let's let her get one because we feel sorry for her getting screwed out of the 2008 primaries." NO! Sure, emotionally mature adults who didn't repeat the third grade until the teachers got sick of them and bumped them up would, but that's grossly underestimating the country now, isn't it? Look at what happened when they made a one off, not connected to the original in any way, cash grab of a movie with women in the cast. You think we're ready for a female president when we have so many idiots sending death threats to Leslie Jones for a movie that won't matter a darn anyway? Oh Hillary has facts and experience on her side. And Drumph has amoral puppetmaster Roger Alies on his side. A supposed "human man" who's disgusting acts of sexual harassment are the least terrible thing about him. Doesn't matter if he acted like a spoiled 4 year old at someone else's birthday party at the debate last night. He's a perfect psychological match for his supporters.

Then there's the Millenials... and listen. I think they get too much crap. They're no different than any young group of people. But... GET THE &^&^%$ OVER IT! I wanted Bernie too, if only for the fact he was always polling at chances much higher of beating Drumph than Hillary's "within the margin of error" up and downs. If you wanted Bernie then wouldn't Drumph being president be infinitely worse than Hillary? But NOooOOoooOOOO! Gary Johnson believes in Global Warming, but we shouldn't do anything because Libertarianism! Yeah. he's super duper freaking pro-Big Fat destroy everything around you for the sake of short term profit, but pot and not hating gays! Let's split the vote for a candidate that gets just enough of the vote to give us another disastrous 2000 dimple chads situation. He's not going to get enough of the vote to win, neither is Jill "Vaccinations are turning our kids into mutants with wi-fi super powers" Stein. If you don't like Hillary (and I'm starting to hate the *&^%$ out of her too for screwing up a campaign against the worst person in the country supported by thousands of the runners up) vote her as a spite vote against the guy who you hate more. I did that in the 2012 primaries.

Oh wait...3 Groups. The In-duh-cided voters who believe every false equivalency the media spits out. There's no choice. One candidate is slightly untrustworthy, the other's an out right career fraud with a history of freaking being a terrible person. 4 groups. The snobbish independents who say "it'll be the same no matter who's elected, what what? Balderdash and Proust, pip pip." Again... decision between someone at worst who'd be a mediocre 1 termer and someone who uses Nazi style propaganda and bamboozles dumb people who he laughs at, who has gone bankrupt multiple times, sues the crap out of anyone calling him out on lies, who willingly scams people out of money, who uses other people's charity donations to pull his butt out of litigation he weasels out of, who has a history of racial discrimination, who uses the same exact freaking illegal immigrant labor he wants to build a wall, who marries trophy wives and dumps them when they get old, who acts like a GO&&&&&N child, who's supported by the KKK, who's supported by Neo-Nazis, who's supported by Alex Jones who thinks he's going to save the world from the aliens that the bible was warning us of (which I wish I was making up), and is just a freaking terrible human being (and he only technically qualifies) on every level. THERE IS NO CHOICE! Pretending the candidates are exactly the same this time isn't smart or cool, it's getting your head up your own butt. You hate him too. We have the power to outnumber an army of poorly educated conspiracy theorist morons who refuse to take responsibility for their lives sucking and save the country from an existential threat on all our beliefs. Don't *&^% it up because you're too cool or can't bring yourself to not vote for the actual lesser of two evils. It's not ****** and Turd. It's Turd and Unholy Nuclear Waste Mutant Nightmare that leaves a trail of destruction every where he goes.

Well, when you look at the political spectrum in the country, the Republicans fer shurully are a majority, while Democrats are more of a minority - that only would probably play a tremendous factor in Drumph's victory, but not only that, the unfortunate thing too is that he's actually popular, but for the wrong reasons . . . you know what it's like? It's like the Krapdashians: Drumph is essentially a celebrity yet has done absolutely nothing to achieve celebrity status. That's another factor at play in his warped popularity: he's not a politician, so he's able to project an image of himself as subverting the corrupt politician that so many people are sick of seeing in public office (though the corrupt part clearly still applies to Drumph).

So, again, with Reps being the majority, and Drumph saying all of the racist, xenophobic, and bigoted things that just about all Reps scream in the back of their minds, of course they're going to elect him into office so he can rid the country of anyone who isn't wealthy and white and put up these walls, isolating us from the rest of the world. I mean, again, look at how just last week alone, in the wake of all these shootings, he and his staff blatantly said some of the most disgusting racist crap anybody could possibly utter during tragedy's like this, meanwhile other Reps out there who would otherwise not say anything because they know they wouldn't be able to get away with it, are praising glory be to these people for "telling it like it is." I'm telling you, the Reps essentially want America to be just like a country club: disallow anyone who doesn't meet their standards.
