Figured this could be its own thread. Season 46 starts airing on PBS starting September 12. What's interesting is that they won't be airing in the same order as HBO. And it seems like the "9 month window" is from the premiere of the season, not specific episodes, as you'll see some later eps in the season are airing right away.

Here's the schedule so far:
  • 09/12 - 4601 (Bedtime Story)
  • 09/13 - 4632 (Sesame Ocean)
  • 09/14 - 4602 (Mucko Polo)
  • 09/15 - 4608 (When Dinosaurs Walked Sesame Street)
  • 09/19 - 4630 (Afraid of the Bark)
  • 09/26 - 4624 (Abby Makes the Seasons Change)
In between those dates are re-runs of those same shows.

I'm glad that two of the ones I recently missed due to not having HBO will be that soon on the schedule. I keep hearing good things about "Sesame Ocean" and kinda felt left out.

I find it humorous that Episode 4629 is airing close to Halloween.

To quote a certain Movie: "Grab your Torch and Pitchforks."

I'm just saying it's going to get ugly now that the HBO shows are able to be viewed to the public.

Thanks for that info. I couldn't find the episodes online anywhere. Now we only have a month to wait so that's good news. But still if anyone knows where I can find any videos of 4608 in the meantime, that would be great. I'm not too worried about the ones that are repeat episodes except for the new material they add to those episodes, but either way keep us updated.

I doubt it. Most people wouldn't even have known about any changes unless they were reported and the news went viral or people actually tuned in.

I can assure you a large percent of folks who whined about the recent cast member fooferah wouldn't have known because they probably don't watch the show nowadays.

There was probably more anger at it being on HBO than anything that was changed in the series. I'm sure quite a few are going to be surprised to find out the show actually isn't HBO exclusive.
