It's no secret that Dreamworks has been struggling financially for at least the last few years.
There had been rumors that Dreamworks had been looking for someone to buy them, and Hasbro was one of the names that showed up a lot. Now it's officially been announced that Comcast, the owners of NBC Universal (NBC, Bravo, Sprout, MSNBC) is acquiring Dreamworks for $3.55 billion.
