Very interesting footage; the opening of Episode 25 had also turned up on ATV's 1976 Christmas tape and I had always assumed that that was where the footage originated from. As for the footage not turning up on DVD, Disney may not have been aware of its existence.

Two possible reasons:
1. Disney didn't know of its existence.
2. It was considered too smutty to be released on DVD.
