Will somebody please explain to me WHAT "beaver" means in slang? Apparently it's something dirty, but I have no clue what, because when I hear "beaver", I think the mammal with the large flappy tail that builds dams.

It's....uh... something girls have instead of boys. That's as graphic as I can get into it with this site. And it's not in anyway new, either. They used it in one of the Naked Gun movies. Forget which one, though.

Why is finals week the week before Christmas? College kids (and little old ladies in college [like me ]) can only take so much stress at once!

And for that matter, why do I have a final at 8am four days before Christmas? On a Saturday [for crying out loud, A SATURDAY!!!]?

Finals generally depend on the school district, so blame your school district
The last day of Finals for us was this past tuesday

Why should veterans have to, "Give back" to their communities? I mean, they've already done everybody a service by protecting and serving our country, and we already acknowledge their service and sacrifice, they even have their own holiday kind of, so why should they have to give back because we thank and honor them? I mean, isn't that like telling cancer patients to return the favor to people who send them cards or other gestures of care and support? Or, telling newly weds to reimburse everyone who bought wedding presents for them?
