I'm a complete novice to apps, but have learned a lot in the last 48 hours. Since it was a free app, I spent a very small amount of money to help get me through a rough patch at the beginning. It's really unnecessary. Some of this might be right or wrong. This is literally my first app experience ever.

Here are some tips as I see them:
  • Money is easy to get. The cast makes it constantly just by standing there.
  • Diamonds are very important. Spend them wisely.
  • Exchange player numbers in the Options menu for extra diamonds. Your player number is listed on your Friends Page (the Fozzie & Kermit icon). Mine is: 508482DI
  • XP advances you forward to new levels. This is the most important thing.
  • Getting rid of garbage generates XP. Get rid of all of it ASAP!
  • Buying food helps create XP so get as many fryers cooking as much food as possible. In fact, this is the primary source of XP once the garbage is gone and the accessories have been bought.
  • The character generator doesn't always give you the correct character even if you match the right combo. You're not crazy. This requires much patience.
  • It's best to keep all of your characters unless they are duplicates. Some of these whatnot Muppets can actually make a lot of money!
  • If you dismiss a duplicate, or any character, place them first to get the XP.
  • This is not a game you're supposed to pick up and play for hours. You accomplish all the things you can and visit the game later to reap your rewards and accomplish new things. This is actually a good thing because the game eats battery life like crazy.
Hope this helps! Again, I'm new to all of this.

The game touts being able to unlock over 20 well-known characters. I'm advanced along enough that I know some of them so I'll try not to spoil what's coming next. Most of these are no-brainers. It was kind of shocking that Janice and Teeth were missing at the beginning. They will probably come later so I'll list them as such.

So far, it seems the characters included are:
  1. Kermit
  2. Fozzie
  3. Miss Piggy
  4. Gonzo
  5. Rowlf
  6. Animal
  7. Floyd
  8. Sam
  9. Mahna Mahna
  10. Snowth(s)
  11. Swedish Chef (acknowledged in Kitchen level)
  12. Beaker (shown in advertisements)
  13. Bunsen (shown in advertisements)
  14. Dr. Teeth (is bound to eventually come)
  15. Janice (is bound to eventually come)
  16. Rizzo (is bound to eventually come)
  17. Walter (is a likely inclusion these days)
  18. Pepe (is a likely inclusion these days)
So, there's three more to make it "over 20." I think they might have a Pigs in Space level, so Link and Strangepork would fill out two of the slots. Lew, Sweetums, Suggs, Harry, Beauregard or Robin could easily pop up. I wouldn't hold out for Clifford, Sal or Johnny Fiamma. Hmmm...

Non-"well-known" characters:
  1. Muppet Rats
  2. Muppet Chickens
  3. Muppet Veggies
  4. Muppet Penguins
Non-traditional/game-created characters:
  1. Big Mo
  2. Durwood Clapper
  3. Jax Strumley
  4. The Divettes
  5. Kizzy

Non-locked characters:
  1. Scooter (appears as a greeter)
  2. Statler (appears in the balcony scenery)
  3. Waldorf (appears in the balcony scenery)
  4. Muppet Newsman (appears as an avatar)

Sometimes the "1" is an "I" and you've got to type it into the right place under the Options menu, but you've got to type someone else's number in that space. Hope that helps.
