I'm getting the feeling the appearance isn't supposed to be funny.

Although...people need to remember that this appearance is going to be written for GLC fans, not muppet fans. So...I'm going to bet that the Muppets are going to act kind of out of character as far as muppet fans would view them

I think I read that the the fur he was usually made of is no longer produced.

If they can't fix the fur, they really need to at least fix the shape of his head. And his nose seems a might small.
