Here is an outline for Muppets Tonight, taking place during the second season and guest starring the cast of Sesame Street, including Susan, Gordon, Bob, Maria, Luis, and Gina.

Cold Opening/ Comissionary
Bob, Maria, Luis, Susan, Gordon, Gina, and Big Bird are eating in the comissionary. Big Bird comments on his bird seed pie, bird seed milkshake, and bird seed sandwhich ("so this is how a star lives, huh?") and Kermit and Clifford come down to thank them all for being guest stars. They are all honored. Grover comes into the commissionary, greets kermit ("Hey, froggy babbbyyy!!", and slaps him on the back) and then goes to get a meal. He orders a peanut butter and jelly sandhwich, but Seymour mistakes his request for a peanut, butter, and jelly sandwhich and puts a peanut, a stick of butter, and some jelly on the sandwhich. Grover thinks that is disgusting, so oscar takes it, and then Grover asks for soem chicken soup instead, but seymour and pepe hand Grover a bowl of soup with a live chicken in it. Grover looks at the camera and says, "So this is what it is like to be served", and decides to make his own meal.

Introduction
Clifford announces that the cast of Sesame Street is guest starring, and introduces grover.

Opening Number: Supercalifragilisticexpialidosious
Grover struggles to sing the song from Mary Poppins. He sings it at a fair, where Bill the Bubble Guy, Bean Bunny, Elmo, Lew Zeland, Bunsen, Beaker, and the Sesame Street humans provide back-up vocals. The number ends with Grover fainting.

Ernie and Bert's apartment
For no apparant reason, Ernie has invited Statler and Waldorf to watch the show from his apartment. Bert wonders why they are watching the show at their apartment.

Pigs in Space: Deep Dish Nine
The martians have invaded the swinetrek. The crew can't understand what the Martians want, so they call in the translators. maria and Luis, wearing pig noses, translate what the martians are saying. The martians are asking if the swinetrek crew can tell them how to get to 31 jump street. Then the Honkers and Dingers come in, and Miss Piggy asks for them to be translated, but they are out of time.

Controll Room
Miss Piggy asks who wrote that garbage, and Oscar suddenly appears and says that he did.

Tales From the Vet
Dr. Phil Van Neuter presents "The story of the monsters who didn't eat people". Cookie Monster, Elmo, Grover, and Herry appear as those monsters, who walk by and give lollypops to Andy and Randy Pig.

Ernie and Bert's Apartment
Statler: I can't beleive that!
Waldorf: That was disgusting!
Ernie: Well, around here, it's common for monsters to share their lollypops.
Bert: Well, can we just watch the news?
Waldorf: Hey, what do you know, he agrees with us!
Statler: And the news is about to come on!

News
Kermit appears as a news reporter, where he is covering an eating contest agaisnt Cookie Monster and Carl, "the big, mean cookie eater". Carl says that he will win, since he is a big, mean cookie eater, but Cookie Monster thinks he will win. They both get piles of cookies, but it ends in a tie. Carl then eats Kermit.

(commercial break)

Bay of Pigswatch
The counting inspector, played by The Count, comes to the ebach to count pigs on duty. The he counts all monsters (Cookie, Grover, Elmo, Zoe, Telly, Herry, Carl, Animal, and Boppity) at the beach.

Controll Room
Bob is disapointed to learn that his number has been cancled, but Nigel tells him thta he can sing it in the controll room, so Bob sings "The People in Your neighborhood", with people including a mad scientist (Dr. Phil van Neuter), a security guard (Bobo), and a blue hook-nosed whatever (Gonzo).

Magic Act
The Amazing Mumford does some magic. He attempts to make Rizzo taller, but only succeeds in making him smaller, he attempts to give Big Bird the ability to fly, but instead makes Big Bird float ("there's a difference", says Big Bird), and he attempts to make Beaker talk like a normal person, but instead makes himself talk like Beaker.

Controll Room
Oscar likes all of the mistakes that have happened, and he enjoys seeing Sal yell and push people aside to make way for Johnny Fiama. However, Kermit tells Johnny that his number has been cancled so that the entire Sesame Street cast can perform a big closing number. Johnny is disapointed, but Susan says that they could let Johnny sing the beginning verse, and everybody can be a part of the song.

Closing Number: Sing
Johnny Fiama begins singing "Sing", and get's joined by Sal, then Big Bird and the humans, then by Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Elmo, Biff, Sully, Gonzo, Grover, Elmo, Zoe, Prairie Dawn, Hoots, The Count, and Cookie Monster.

In Front of Oscar's Can
Statler and Waldorf walk past oscars can, complaining about the show. Oscar pops out of his trash can and agrees with them, and invites them to watch the show in his can next week.

Pretty entertaining.

One part that I loved was the mistakes that Seymour & Pepe made with Grover's food orders.

I'll post your long-awaited second comment.

I love Ernie and Bert appearing with the hecklers in their apartment and Carl eating Kermit when he ties with Cookie in the cookie-eating contest. Great.
