While we have another thread for the game, this one is for discussing the commercials.

There have been years where we've been surprised by Muppet references in some of the commercials. We'll have to see what's in store this year.

Let us know which commercials you liked and those you didn't care for. After the commercials air, feel free to embed video links here as well.

So far, I think the Doritos commercial with the goat is probably going to be the #1 commercial of the year. (Doritos has something of a winning streak going on...) The M&M's commercial should probably come in close second so far...

Yeah, the GoDaddy.com commercial was disgusting! The Oreo commercial was ridiculous. I get it, they're in a library, there tons of chaos going on, but do they still have to whisper? :shifty:

I have thought the commercials have been weak on the whole this year. Nothing too special or interesting. My personal favorite so far was the Best Buy one with Amy Poehler.

I didn't even bother looking for them online. They're always the SAME commercials

Doesn't Doritos have anything better than stupid guys getting injured by animals?

Yeah! The commericals to me were tasteless. Supper Boel starts with monies and it has women, ho'okay? But oy, the commercials had women but no monies. Si, those commericals were njust awful.

Oh yeah, how awful was it to see a geeky, overweight, ugly guy make out with a hot super model?
But as far as commercials go, I enjoyed the Oreo one, the Doritos ones were good too. There were a few good ones. Some of the ones weren't too shabby.

I liked the Pepsi commercial when the boy gets busted for having a wild party at his parents' house, complete with a duct-taped dude on the ceiling, but he gives his parents Pepsi and they're like, OK no problem...As you were.
Then the kid on the ceiling falls and lands on his face. XD

The Doritos commercials were VERY funny as well. Especially the one with the goat who keeps crunching the chips and driving the poor man INSANE!!! The tea party one was a bit creepy, but funny at the same time.

GoDaddy...WHAT were you thinking? America can't UN-see that!

The ETrade baby...winning. Love that little guy. This commercial was great.

I wonder what Statler and Waldorf would say about Super Bowl commercials of the past and present...:boo:

I saw a portion of the Superbowl last night when I was eating out... I'm no big sports fan, but the commercials certainly were unusual. The only one that gave me a genuine laugh was the MIO drink flavoring ad. There was this one awful long ad with a speech about why "god made a farmer" over a montage of country landscapes (which I thought was unintentionally funny at some points) and after 2 minutes, we find out what the commercial's actually selling, which was RAM trucks. No surprise there.
