Ya know, I like world records as much as the next guy, but... do we REALLY need a new reality series about people basically trying to kill themselves in order to get into the Guiness Book of World's Records?
Yes. Yes we do. We need all the pointless reality shows we can get. Anything to let people make bigger fools of themselves than the producers of these shows. If there's anything this world needs, it's more fools.

If everyone's worried about national debt, why doesn't anyone take out stuff we really don't need, like TV shows that literally have no one watching, or porn?
Seriously, why can't we just take out all unneccesary stuff?!

What song?

Porn is only disgusting if you don't like watching other people do it. I have nothing against porn, if that's how you roll, great. I just don't want to see it myself...but that doesn't mean no one else can watch it either...

Why am I defending porn again?

That's why Romney was trying to get rid of PBS... apparently, it was unnecessary, and we didn't need it.

You know, for the record, and I am not just saying this because Sesame Street is like, Muppets, but some parents can only afford enough time to place their children in front of a TV to learn. MY MIDDLE NAME CAME FROM THERE!!!

The government doesn't pay for those things, so they are not a part of the national debt. It's things like the wars, an inefficient health care program, things like that which are raising the national debt.

I really want to get into a discussion about that. Porn is the MOST depressing thing on the planet. Deep down, it's made for lonely people who just can't find any way to get human contact one way or another (sometimes due to circumstances beyond their control and basically being unlikable for some reason). Take it from me. Stumbling upon anything that..uh... does it on the internet is incredibly easy. It's really invigorating at first, but then you get the empty feeling. The deep dark depressing emptiness of that person doesn't like you or knows that you exist and in real life they'd call the police and shoot you with pepper spray if you so much as had accidental eye contact with them. There are people in healthy relationships that use that stuff for certain purposes, but the main demographic is lonely people who will always be lonely.

The government doesn't pay for those things, so they are not a part of the national debt. It's things like the wars, an inefficient health care program, things like that which are raising the national debt.
And let's not forget corporate welfare. The biggest welfare cheats in this country are corporations. We're in debt because a failure of a business man became president in 2000 and wanted to pay for 2 wars on credit, all the while giving his big business buddies whopping, overly generous tax cuts. Not because of PBS. But that's the debate again. Companies throw a fortune at politicians to make sure they don't have to pay slightly more money to the government.

Which is the question I must ask.

When did corporations slowly start to be run by a hideous mixture of C.M. Burns and Ralph Wiggum?
