Hi! I'd like all Muppet fans to know that Karen Falk, Archivist of the Jim Henson Company, is coming to the University of Maryland Libraries to give 2 talks. The first is geared primarily to archivists and librarians: "Inside Jim Henson's Imagination:A Presentation on the Jim Henson Archives" Inside Jim Henson's Imagination:
A Presentation on the Jim Henson Archives Karen will be joined by University of Maryland scholars and archivists. It will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday March 6. To RSVP, see here. http://www.lib.umd.edu/news/2016/jim-henson-and-kermit At the second event, Karen will be screening Jim's almost never seen (and possibly surprisingly timely) documentary Youth '68, an “exciting mixed media portrait” of the youth and their culture in 1968. Youth ’68 is a collage of interviews, literary quotations, and contemporaneous popular music and modern dance. The notable artists interviewed include members of Jefferson Airplane, Mamas & the Papas, The Journeymen, Happy Apples, and Vanilla Fudge." - See more at: https://theclarice.umd.edu/events/2...xperiment-youth-68-and-discussion-everythings

I helped set this up, so it would be wonderful if people could make it.
Best, Ariel Segal
