With apologies to TravellingMatt for using his formatting...

Special Guest Star: Eddie Murphy

Opening Theme

Opening Number: The Electric Mayhem performs "Shakedown" from the "Beverly Hills Cop II" soundtrack

Statler: "Shakedown"...sounds good...

Waldorf: Yeah...Arrest the producer.

Both: OH HO HO HO HO...

Backstage: Kermit is planning tonight's show, but he keeps on hearing various Muppets complaining about the DVD versions of their various movies. Eddie is also complaining about the DVD treatment of "Trading Places" and "Boomerang". Kermit grabs DVDs of TMM, TGMC and MTM to examine for himself.

Guest Star: Eddie performs "Love Train"...at the end of the song, he hears train noises, and Gonzo rides onstage on a skateboard, crashing and knocking Eddie to the floor.

Eddie: What was that?

Gonzo: Improvisation...

Backstage: Kermit is surfing through the features on the MTM disc and is getting miffed.

Skit: Scooter and an Anything Muppet do a variant on an SNL sketch with "What The Heck Is That?"

Muppet Newsflash: The Newsman interviews Mr. White (Eddie in white make-up), a very WASPish man who can do a great James Brown impression.

Backstage: Kermit and Scooter rummage through a closet to find the theatrical trailers for the first 3 Muppet Movies.

Veterinarian's Hospital: Dr. Bob and Nurses Piggy and Janice are being held hostage by Mrs. Finch from "Follow That Bird" (Sally Kellerman provides her voice again in a cameo performance). Axel Foley (Eddie) defuses the situation.

UK Spot: Fozzie sings "Won't Get Fooled Again" after walking away from a crowd of Anything Muppet hecklers.

Talk Spot: Kermit and Eddie compare notes on their DVD treatment.

Sketch: Lew Zealand and Dr. Teeth make conversation, each sentence containing the title of an Eddie Murphy movie (Zealand gets the "Boomerang" reference, of course)

Statler: "I Spy"...

Waldorf: What?

Statler: The exit to our right...wanna run for it?

Waldorf: Only if we can take the "Metro" out of here...

Both: HA HO HO HO...

Closing Number: Kermit, Eddie and the Electric Mayhem perform "Respect".

Closing Theme

Statler: What does this show have in common with "Pluto Nash"?

Waldorf: What?

Statler: IT'S A BOMB!

Both: DOH HO HO HO...

So, what do you think? Did I do you justice, TravellingMatt?

Sincerely,
