For me, it's a bit hard to decide. It's pretty much anything vintage (made between the 1970's and the mid 1990's).

"Cookie Monster and the Cookie Tree".
Arguably the greatest Sesame Street kids book.
It really feels like something out of Sesame Street.
It has the same Muppety humor, a great art style, and it's not too cute either, and it still gives a good message about sharing to little kids.
(For the geeks out there, my copy seems to be a reprint. It doesn't credit "Jim Henson's Muppets" on the front.)

I have a Knickerbocker Grover that I got for my birthday in 1976. His eyes are a little scratched up and his fur is a little matted, but even after all these years, he's still full of cute and huggableness.
