Hubert has inspired me to create my list!
Top Ten Overall PBS kids shows
10. Zoom (1998 revival, never saw the original series. I actually looked forward to seeing it every day after school.)
9. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood
8. The Big Comfy Couch
7. Wimzie's House (I used to be so frightened of this show)
6. Martha Speaks!
5. Wishbone (Introduced me to so many great books!)
4. Sesame Street
3. Between the Lions
2. Anne of Green Gables
1. Arthur
Now this list is really coming back to me. I watched Sesame Street in the 1990s, then Winzie's House... I'm sure that was a puppet show and so was Between the Lions I guess. Now I know notice of few things since Fraggle Rock and Winzie's House were children shows.

- Red Fraggle and Winzie the Dragon have pigtails
- Both shows were filmed in Canada

Arthur will always be in my number one list. I saw it ever since it premereed on television. As a young child, I was even introduced to Arthur books. Unfortunately, we have to give those books away when I got older.

Oh well, thank you for posting. Those shows just always come back to me.

The rest of America sure is lucky: when I was in school, "Study Hall" wasn't a subject, or a place where you killed time inbetween classes or anything, in our schools, "Study Hall" was PUNISHMENT. If you misbehaved in class, didn't finish homework or schoolwork, you were sent to "Study Hall" in place of something like going out for recess, or going on a field trip, or some other kind of pleasurable activity.

Since when did modern sitcoms start having theme songs again? I honestly can't imagine what a theme song would be like for either of these shows... O.O

They're rather short, but still catchy. Though the cast credits still appear after the openings have ended.
