I'd love to discuss it on Muppetcast, that'd be awesome.

And also Sarah when you figure out the audio, let me know, I'd love to hear it.

Oh and Alan at the Cinema Arts Centre said that a lot of people put videos of the panel and screening up on YouTube, so some fishing around on there might be good. I haven't checked myself yet.

Edit: Yeah there's really nothing on YouTube except some pictures and one person who got some of the MFS screening so I guess I'll put my videos up now. Have a bit of editing to do with the clips, and none are really that great, but it's something for now.

Edit again: The YouTube remix doesn't appear to be working. -grumble- But here are the videos all separate and grossly non-edited like. For some reason "Elmo Going Back Into The Bag", the worst clip, was already viewed 53 times. That's what happens when you tag Elmo I guess.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyc2rw_7Xo8 - The Panel (Gonzo and Elmo fight)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP5zgvxPAGM - The Panel (Gonzo and Elmo fight worse)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmCdkYY03Co - MFS Screening (Gonzo answers who is best friend is, and then discusses a little about a future Muppet release.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFOZPgOP8IU - Booksigning (Very short video of Kevin making Elmo say goodbye)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX2AwSDuXjI - MFS Screening (Very bad quality of Gonzo discussing his favorite music)

I'm amazed that fans were allowed to bring video cameras to this. It seems like cameras weren't allowed for Muppetfest or the 2004 Henson Film Festival.

Then again, these clips would be good evidence for Muppet Wiki when citing a source for some facts (I haven't watched the clips yet, so I don't know if there'd be anything appropriate for the wiki).

Oh my gosh, you met Steve and Jerry too? You are so lucky.

Nice pictures of the event, too.

Here is the link to download the audio from the panel. Cody (the kid I babysit for) dropped my MP3 player on the ground twice so I apologize for that! It's a pretty good quality, IMO--I mean, I was sitting right in the front row, so it should be!

Enjoy!

PS: Ryan, I sent it to you already, and to The MuppetCast!

Yeah the place was very camera friendly. The curator Alan had mentioned that to me on the phone when I first called to inquire about tix, etc. I know every place has their own photography rules so I wanted to ask that before I brought my camera with me and risk having it confiscated. I was so glad I FINALLY got a shot with Gonzo and with Jane Henson because I've met Jane before several times at the Museum of T.V. and Radio in NYC and they're kind of strict on photo taking there sometimes so I finally got one with her after all this time.

Sarah, this is fantastic! Better than I could have hoped for!
Yay! I'm glad!

I have audio of Dave/Gonzo's intro to TMM and part of the Q&A after GMC (the two that I have videos for as well). I can upload those after I get home from work.

I wish I had recorded Craig's Q&A post-Muppet History 101 because he said some great stuff then, about how he hoped that the Muppets would return to the public eye and that the world, in its present state, really needed them. With which I think all of us would agree. He said that there were projects coming up (which Dave had said earlier, but that he couldn't talk about them) and that Disney has been really good with using the same people out of the JHC that worked closely with the Muppets.

If I think of what else he said, I'll post it! That was a crazy time for me... Muppets History 101 wasn't exactly enthralling to the little 8 year olds I brought... oy.
