Your Henson Priorities

Out of the various henson productions, products, and whatnot, what would you say your priorities are? What do you like better, what would you rather see, and so forth?

Here are my priorities when it comes to Henson television shows:
1. The Muppets (TMS, JHH, and MT, in that order)
2. Sesame Street
3. Dinosaurs
4. Muppet Babies
5. Fraggle Rock (live action first, then animated)
6. The Storyteller
7. The Storyteller: Greek Myths
8. Dog City
9. The Animal Show

and of the Henson shows that I either never seen or haven't seen very many episodes of:
1. Sam And Friends
2. Little Muppet Monsters
3. Aliens in the Family
4. The Ghost of Faffner Hall
5. Play With Me Sesame
6. Family Rules
7. Mopatops Shop
8. Bear in the big blue house

Here are my film priorities, based on what I like best and what I like least.

Muppet movie priorities:
the first three movies (I can't ever make up my mind on which is my favorite)
it's a very merry muppet christmas movie
the muppets wizard of oz
muppets from space
the muppet christmas carol
muppet treasure island
kermits swamp years

If you want to count Muppet Vision 3D, then put after it's a very merry muppet christmas movie.

Sesame Street movie priorities:
Follow That Bird
Elmo in Grouchland

I haven't seen Sesame Street 3D (If you want to count that)

Creature Shop movie priorities:
Labrynth
The Dark Crystal
Good Boy
The Witches
Buddy

and I haven't seen Time Piece.

I am not counting anything that was part of a collection of videos (but if it was a stand-alone video release then it'll be listed) or Sesame Street specials. I am also not counting The bells of Fraggle Rock, since I see that as an episode, or any specials that were originally seen on The Jim Henson Hour. I am also not counting documentaries.

I just realized that there are some videos that I forgot to mention, such as Imagine That and Let's Make Music. I'll put both of those between Let's eat and Elmos World: Happy Holidays. I also forgot to list Quiet Time. I'll put that after Happy healthy Monsters.

I just want to see TMS finished off -- as complely as possible -- within the next couple years (hopefully, two a year: minimum) and then whatever else we can get. I would love JHH, but, unfortunately, I seriously doubt that we will ever see that in the way it was intended to be seen. Heck, the Jim intros would have to be butchered to eliminate all reference to the "Storyteller" segments. This I do not want. As much as I love the show, I don't want to see it butchered.

Regarding the future TMS sets, I hope to see various specials that Disney owns the full rights to would fill the time in later seasons that S&V did for season 1. Then again, "The Muppet Valentine Special" would release a plague of boredom across the globe, so I'm not really sure if I would want that on there...

But seriously: so long as it isn't "Muppet Oz: Special Edition!" with 10 more minutes of pointless footage or the same specials re-issued with less footage than before ("Muppet Family Christmas ultimate Mega Platinum Edition: now with 5% less segments!"), I'll be satisfied with whatever comes out. After all, it isn't like anyone is forcing us to buy everything. I can remember a time when all the Muppety video that I could get ahold of was the "Its the Muppets!" series (and it took me an extra couple years to find the "Monster Laughs..." volume) and the only merchandise were MTI Kermit dolls and the little bathtub toys that McDonalds put out for that film. We have it much better now than ever (at least when it comes to 'classic' video and merchandise releases) and I can't wait to see what pops up in the years to come. Who knows... remember how the Ed Sullivan DVD just kind of popped up out of nowhere?

Gaah, there I go complaining about how things were 'back in the day' ...
