Will the US get Muppet Family Christmas Region 1 DVD with A Christmas Toy?

I really want A Christmas Toy on DVD. It's one of my favorite Christmas specials. Why would they release it in the UK and not in the US? Does anybody know if Columbia plans on releasing this version in the US?

A Christmas Toy DVD will not be released this year in the US. The soonest it could happen would be September/October 2004.

Is there anything we can do to pursuade Columbia into releasing A Christmas Toy on DVD in the US? I'd hate to just sit and do nothing every year and just hope they release it, only to have another year pass by without it on DVD.
