I love (good) kickstarter projects, and I can't get enough of Sesame related documentaries(Being Elmo, World According to Sesame Street, When Muppets Dream of Peace)...So it goes without saying I am wildly enthusiastic about "I Am Big Bird".
but I found it odd that Sesame Workshop would allow so much material and even back/work with the I Am Big Bird filmmakers but not kick down some scrilla' if ya know what I mean(I know how that goes, I do a lot of performances, graphic design, promotion, etc for people and don't get a dime usually)
But the filmmakers make it sound like if the public doesn't help out, it won't get made.
BUT...the #1 buzz word of the last few days is "Big Bird". I'm assuming the filmmakers are using this unique opportunity to really push their crowd sourcing project and documentary on every available media outlet, blog, social networking site, etc. and that surely this will mean their project gets VERY HIGH visibility and a flood of donations?
