I was wondering if any of you have any idea whether "Avenue Q" might start a national touring company. Would this be feasible? I haven't seen the show, being out here in Iowa, but maybe some of you who have gotten the chance might have an opinion on whether it would be possible and/or likely for such a unique production to tour...

I think it probably will, eventually. I know that publicly no decision has been made yet but it would be surprising if it hasn't been discussed by the producers. I know the Broadway cast is under contract for a year supposedly and some of them have speculated in interviews about how the show might be re-staged.

Lion King is touring now, so anything is possible.
