How come when Sesame Street started it always said CTW Sesame Street not Jim Henson's Sesame Street? Jim Henson created Sesame Street.

Can someone answer my question?

Jim Henson did NOT create Sesame Street. Jim Henson created the Muppets for Sesame Street, but the Children's Television Workshop created Sesame Street. That's why merchandise will sometimes say "Sesame Street featuring Jim Henson's Sesame Street Muppets".

Hope that helps!

Joan Ganz Cooney, with a small group of believers, was the guiding light and driving force behind Sesame Street, and she was an enormous force in the CTW.

yep, its true. Tho in obscure Muppet cannon, it was "Rowlf" that came up with the idea, with Kermit^^

But now, thanks to a corrupt medica company and Disney, all our beloved franchises are all split.

They were split even before Disney owned the Muppets. Sesame Workshop has had 100% ownership of the Sesame Street characters since 2000.

But yeah, now that the Disney deal has gone through, it means the only Muppets Henson still owns are the Fraggle Rock characters. So now they ARE all truly split.
