(Thanks to Emmy for unknowingly givin' me the title of this thread)
Okay, it is THE annual "new year".
People make plans.
Things change.
I wanna plan, I wanna change---maybe y'all can help me in some freaky way.
So, like, we just learned yesterday at work that we're now gonna be goin' into 10-hour days.
This makes me sad and mad, cause I'll be pretty much livin' at work now---and I like to do that at HOME, don'tcha know. Anyways...
So I'll be workin' about an average of 60+-hour weeks, until I find somethin' else. Now I do still love this job a LOT more than the stupid phone store where I was, but these hours are gonna rully rully rully suck. I would like some free time, and that way maybe I could start a social life again.
Now here's where y'all come in: FIND ME A JOB!
LOL!
No, rully---that would rock. I'm in my 10th job, and I wanna get a new one---well, actually, I would love a start to a career. I kinda had one a year ago, but then I was the victim of a lay-off.
I'm gonna do my best on what LITTLE FREE TIME I NOW HAVE (thanks a LOT, ACS!! ) to search online and try and get any connections and look in papers and stuff, but maybe one o' y'all has a connection to somethin' ya didn't even know I'd be interested in. I RULLY wanna make this year "the year of the career" (catchy, no?), so if one o' y'all knows of or hears anything, do not hesitate to let me know!
Really!
Do not!
And yep, I would even move---now, somewhere like CA or UT might take some more thinkin', but "rite here in thu south" o--or maybe even some Yankee territory in this part o' the country (**shivers**) wouldn't be so bad...
Anyway, here are my pique areas of interest:
Welp, there ya have it. Get my foot in the door.
And I'll thank ya.

Anyway, here are my pique areas of interest:
- Creative writing
- photography (nature and outdoor, none o' this bland "people" stuff)
- catalogs (I'd love to write for one)
- magazines (see "catalogs")
- sign language opportunities (my minor)
- natural parks/nature stuff
- music
- private investigating
- advertising (I'd love to do slogans and/or jingles)
- children's areas (especially in media---I'd love to write/voice for "DragonTales"!)
- acting/voice acting/voice-over
- Disney
- Muppets (helLO...lol)
Welp, there ya have it. Get my foot in the door.
And I'll thank ya.
