In SSU #1037, a man shows up every now and then to play an animal guessing game with the viewer. I have no idea who this man is. Might anyone be able to help me out?

That was Whitman Mayo, who played Grady on "Sanford and Son".

also rememeber when he wanted to jump up and not come down and couldn't? theese kids come along and he says i found out you can't go up without comming down. but they could. now why did they make such a skit. i mean isn't that gonna confuse kids? just joking.

They were trying to teach kids about inflation.
