Where can I get puppet materials?

I was wondering where I can get the materials to make muppet-style puppets. im just making them for myself, so its not really like im ripping off the amazing work of the muppets. its just for my own enjoyment, i wanna learn. where can i get the foam, the materials to make hands, eyes, hair, etc.??? PLEASE HELP, id like to order online.
