When does Season 47 start?

Anyone got any ideas on when the new season is gonna begin? In a way im hoping it wont be all the way till January. Was just wondering if anyone knows.

I don't expect it to start before the end of the year. It works out nicely in a way: the season starts at the beginning of the year, hits PBS evenly by the fall.
