What's the deal with the new muppet show?

Is the new muppet show a definate? I mean is it in the production stage or is it just speculation on the boards? The muppets seem to be making a come back and so I expect a new show, but I've been sucked into thinking Ghostbusters 3 was comming out in the summer of 2000 So, is the new show really happening or is it just one of those things that we want to see but won't?

It has been anounced, however I question weather or not it will overcome the problem of makeing fox happy with it's edgieness and keeping a family audience if it doen't become a sucess. I also wonnder if it will survive the sale of the muppets.

Yeah it's not definite - just announced as kinda being in the works. There are lots of problems with shows as they move from pre-production into production that means sometimes they change or don't happen, and then theres the sale to get through too. If the new owners just want them to do family stuff and direct to video then it probably isn't too late for them to get out of the Fox show.
