Throughout the years 1970-1998, there's been one piece of the Sesame Street set I never could figure out...in the arbor, beside the building with the double-doors, there was that brickwall with the letters AB and DE under it. Does anyone know what actally was this was?

The AB DE building behind the arbor was a building (of course painted on a backdrop), with the AB DE as either as a sign that was partially obscured or graffitti.
