What was the Jim Henson Hour like?

what was the first half of the henson hour like? i know the second half was story teller, but the first was what? and how many eps were there? (if some one could go into detail that'd be great

Ah the Jim Henson Hour. I loved that show. Being unable to watch the original Muppet Show on TV (too young to catch the first run, and none of the channels we got showed the re-runs) JHH was the first time I got to see the 'regular' Muppets on TV.

The first half hour was my favorite, as it actually featured Kermit, Fozzie and the gang. My all time favorite number was "Sweet Vacation" - it was basically the Muppets having a beach party.
