Hey Ya'll!

For my new website I am writing a article on what sesame street has taught us, what has sesame street taught you (besides the ABC's and 123's and reading) and has that helped you in anyway? Also, why are you a sesame street and what made you a sesame street fan? thanks!

One time, I did a post about all the topics SS taught us over the years. Here's the list again.

A, adventure, art, above and below, air, alive and not alive, alphabet, animals.
B, beginning middle and end, between, big and little, bus stop.
C, city and country, clues, cleaning, cooperation, computers.
D, danger, dark and light, different and same, dry and wet, describing things.
E, electricity, empty and full, enter and exit, exercise.
F, family, feelings, first and last, front and back, forwards and backwards, following arrows, fast and slow.
G, games, gardening, getting dressed, getting sick, geography.
H, hope, help, hot and cold, houses, here and there.

And numbers 0 thru 20, then going up to 40, and then 100 either by counting by fives or tens.

For me, Sesame has taught me to belive in myself despite what others may think, to be myself, and kindness.

Sesame Street taught me (in song titles) that:
...Cooperation makes it happen!
...there's Just one Me
...tu me gustas means I Like You

It also gave me a great sense of humour and a love for furry monsters. Even scary monsters are friendly and have feelings too!! It taught me peaceful ways of problems solving and how to deal with people. And also how to deal with yourself: That being the true you is so important!

pretty neat. it's hard for me to say or tell what SS or others have taught me I can't remember if I learned the alphabet or numbers through SS or books. probably both and funny thing I don't remember not knowing them. my earliest memory is at age 2 and always remembered watching SS along with the other PBS shows of the day.
