Apart from the fact that it has the Muppets in it, in your opinion what makes a muppet film a muppet film. And what would you like to see in a Muppet film if they made a new one.

What cameos would you want?

It just doesn't feel like a Muppet movie if it isn't filled with original songs sung by the Muppets.

I agree with Boh! (BTW, everytime I see your name I think of that Homer imposter...B'oh! Duh..oh!)

In all honesty, that's why the last two films seemed kind of off (MFS and KSY) no original Muppet songs.

However, I have to state that a film with the Muppets isn't a Muppet film unless there is wackiness, comical chaos, and refferences to Chickens. All this not only makes Muppet Movies Muppet Movies but it makes the Muppets the Muppets.

BOy! That was double talk!

Wasn't "Life as a Pet" an original muppet song? But clearly KSY was lacking in the song dept even including those two.

Well, I haven't seen KSY yet, but I hear that there wasn't much music on it!

The ideal Muppet movie would have:

- Original songs sung by the Muppets
- General silliness (ie references to chickens, fake vomit, peanut butter, etc)
- Celebrity cameos
- Penguins, penguins, penguins!

Well there's the occasional nudge and a wink to the awdience, letting them in on the fact that this is only a movie. Even the last 3 muppet films and the sesame street films did that.
