In the book Sesame street Unpaved, it says that the reason Brian Meehle stopped performing was so that he could become a writer. However, i was reading information on him at the internet movie database and there are no writer credits for him. did he become a book writer, or is/ was he a sceen writer? what has he written?

also, even though it was said that he stopped performing, he still performed in a number of productions. he had the regular role of Mr. Knack on Eureekas castle (which was one of the main characters), he performed on sesame street again from 1993-1994 (although I heard this was because of the deaths of jim henson and richard hunt, which is why dave goelz performed that year as well), and he also performed on other henson series, such as Dog City, where he performed one of the shows main characters, bruno. what is the deal here?
