Snuffy first appeared on Sesame Street in 1971, where he had SCARY-looking eyes. Then, like in 1972-73, his eyes look normal. Then in 1985 everyone on Sesame Street finally sees him. He is Big Bird's best friend, and now on this year's season, he disappeared. Why did they got rid of him?

They didn't get rid of him. There was an episode where Big Bird was waiting for him by the tree. But that's true, like most of them, he's not that popular anymore.
