Enjoy this special Muppet compilation starring Walter!

Walter: Hi, Muppet fans! I am Walter, and today I'm showcasing some of my favorite musical moments from the Muppets, both the movie and the franchise. First, a song from the movie, and I got to sing it.

(Leads to "Life's a Happy Song"; During the non-musical part with Gary and Mary, Walter fast-forwards)

Walter (voice-over): I don't think we need to see the long non-music part. Besides, there's no Muppets in the scene.

(Walter stops fast-forwarding and the rest of the clip is shown)

Walter: I had a lot of fun doing that song. And now here are some great music moments from The Muppet Show!

(Leads to:
  • Octopuses Garden
  • Memory Lane
  • Six String Orchestra
  • Barnyard Boogie
)

Walter: Moving right along, I'd like to introduce a great song from The Muppet Movie, sung by Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear. And the song is called Moving Right Along!

(Leads to "Moving Right Along")

Miss Piggy: Hey, Walter.
Walter: Oh, hi, Miss Piggy.
Miss Piggy: Are vous ready to show moi's greatest hits?
Walter: Well, I looked through your list and you listed every song you ever did.
Miss Piggy: Naturally. All of my songs are my greatest hits.
Walter: But we don't have time to play them all.
Miss Piggy: (angrily disapointed) WHAT?
Walter: (nervously) So, uh, we're only gonna play, (gulps) Three....
Miss Piggy: If you must.

(Leads to:
  • Won't You Play Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song
  • It's Magic
  • I Get Around
)

Walter: That Miss Piggy can be a little demanding.
Kermit: I know.
Walter: Anyway, Kermit, are you ready for me to show them your tap-dancing number?
Kermit: Oh, yes. That would be great.
Walter: Ladies and gentlemen, here is Kermit's tap-dancing number.
Kermit and Walter: (waving their arms) YAAAAAYYYYYYYY...

(Leads to: "Happy Feet")

Walter: And now here are a couple of all-star Muppet performances!

(Leads to:
  • Happiness Hotel
  • Bohemian Rhapsody
)

Walter: And now here are some of the lesser-known Muppets.
Pepe: (popping up) I am not a lesser-known Muppet, okay!
Walter: I know you're not.
Pepe: Then why'd you introduce the lesser-known Muppets?
Walter: Well, you're not included in the next selection.
Pepe: I will call my agent, okay....

(Leads to:
  • Raggmopp
  • Lady of Spain
  • The Music Just Keeps on Rolling Along
  • Sweet Gingerbread Man
)

Walter: Of course good music does not always need lyrics. Here are some great instrumental tunes from the Muppets.

(Leads to:
  • Java
  • Honeysuckle Rose
  • In a Little Swedish Town
  • Moonlight Sonata
  • Nigel whistles and Floyd plays bass
)

Walter: That was some great whistling, but I am also great at whistling.

(Leads to "The Whistling Caruso")

Walter: Even when you have lyrics, it is not always neccessary to be able to understand them. So here is that great Muppet musical number...
Mahna Mahna: (popping up) Mahna Mahna!

(Leads to:
  • Mahna Mahna
  • Danny Boy
  • Baby Face
)

Sam: Those were such weird numbers!
Walter: Well, it's what the Muppets are known best for.
Sam: I know....
Walter: Well, is there anything you'd like me to play?
Sam: Yes. I would like to see some patriotism!
Walter: Okay, you've got it.
Sam: Good.
Walter: Here is a rendition of America the Beautiful...
Sam: Oh, great!
Walter:...As performed by Fozzie Bear!
Sam: (surprised) What?

(Leads to:
  • America the Beautiful
  • American Woman
)

Walter: And now here's Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, live from Walt Disney World!

(Leads to "Rockin' and Rollin' Around the World")

Walter: And now it's time for the big finale, here's another rendition of "Life's a Happy Song"!

(Leads to the "Life's a Happy Song" finale)

Walter: Well, that's it. I hope you enjoyed all these musical moments from The Muppets. Many of them are my favorites. See you later!
