Vend-A-Face

Anyone know if the Vend-A-Face segments were pulled from the reruns of TMS? I've been taping as many as I can and haven't run into any yet, and it's one of my favourites! Also, if so, WHY?

And, oh yeah, why were the original openings pulled from the first season? This may have been discussed but I can't find it in any thread.
