... In my beautiful balloon.
Does anyone know this song? Its by 5th Dimension.

Well Rowlf sings it on TMS, Season 2. But he only sings "Up Up and Away!"

Apparently there is a complete version on Sesame Street, So Joggy tells me.

Could anyone else give me any more info please ?

Thanks

I remember it vaguely... It was a little anything muppet with black hair. And the only thing that really sticks out is at the end, a plane or a bird or something pops his baloon and he plummets down to the ground.

It disturbed me as a child. Come to think of it I think I remember Guy Smiley or something that resembed him doing the song "Windy" where everything starts to blow away. Is that also the 5th Dimention?

All I remember of this song is Homer Simpson's rendition, which he sings after discovering he has won a "free motorboat":

"Up up and away, in my beautiful, my beautiful, motorboat!"

Mad Little Jerry,

That was Guy Smiley singing 'Gone With The Wind'. Or singing a song from that movie, Jim Nabors did the same thing on The Muppet Show in Season One... Even with the falling pants.

I don't know if it was from that movie, but I searched for info on the song, evidentally Ella Fitzgerald once sang it. It's quite a sad song. Just the same, I don't think I'll ever hear anyone sing it without my cracking up.
