Elmo will be on UK TV next week.

There's a real treat in store for younger viewers when Sesame Street favourite Elmo drops into the Milkshake! studio in a couple of weeks.

He'll be helping regular presenter Naomi celebrate her 10-year anniversary as the presenter of Five's Milkshake! for three days. He'll also be doing some sightseeing in London - so he should have plenty to tell old friends such as Bert and Ernie when he gets back to America.

Elmo's first appearance will be on Tuesday, June 29, when viewers will be able to ask him questions about such subjects as as what he likes to eat, who is friends are, and what games he likes to play.

On Wednesday 30 he helps somebody celebrate their birthday with a surprise party, and on Friday, July 2 he discusses what he's been up to during his holiday in the UK. Viewers will also be encouraged to share their holiday stories and photographs.

I'll post on this thread since it's sort of connected...

Radio 1 in the UK just had an interview (about 13:40) with Elmo from the Milkshake set apparently. It was quite fun to listen to, I just happened on it accidently. Anyone else catch it? What did you think?

Also, on the Radio 1 site is a video of the presenter Greg James having a staring contest with Elmo, here's the link for those who are interested:
