1. Sunnyvale is the original home of PDI (Pacific Data Images), a studio which would later go on to produce features like Prince of Egypt and Shrek. In the 80s, they produced a few short films, and even the animation of Waldo C. Graphic for The Jim Henson Hour. In Secrets of the Muppets, Jim himself takes us to the PDI studio for a tour. (It made me feel proud to live in this town when I heard him say "Pacific Data Images in Sunnyvale, California" )
2. The Santa Clara County Library has some Muppet videos in circulation, including the 1987 S4C documentary Henson's Place - which I didn't expect to find at all.
If any fellow residents have any more amusements like this to point out, post 'em in this thread.
