Here's a thread to compare the differences in the lyrics of songs performed on TMS vs. their original versions, as it was a common practice for the TMS writers to edit the lyrics for their purposes.

Episode 214: Elton John
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road:
This stanza is gone: "What do you think you'll do then/I bet they'll shoot down your plane/it'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics/to set you on your feet again."

Episode 201: Don Knotts
What a Wonderful World (sung by Rowlf):
Original:
I hear babies cry/I watch them grow/they'll learn much more/than I'll ever know
TMS: I hear puppies cry/I watch you grow/you'll learn much more/than I'll ever know
