Cold Opening: Suzanne admits that she's never even heard of The Muppet Show, and hopes that it's her kind of show. Then, in a situation similar to the Melissa Manchester cold opening, Crazy Harry sets off an explosion, Animal wrestles a moose, Sweetums and a Mutation play tag, Marvin Suggs chases muppaphones with his mallet, The Swedish Chef chases an alligator with a meat cleaver, and Lips blows his trumpet in Suzanne's ear. Suzanne then says "This is the last time I sign a contract for a guest spot on a show I know nothing about!"


Introduction:Kermit introduces the opening number

Opening Number: A whatnot couple sing "Homeward Bound" while in a very fancy hotel room

Backstage:Floyd decides he wants to try different hairstyles

Introduction:Kermit Introduces Suzanne Pleshette

Guest Star Spot: Suzanne sings "I Won't Dance" to Fletcherbird

Backstage:Gonzo Puts Chicken Feathers in Floyd's Hair

Muppet Labs:Bunsen invents Airplane Shoes and Beaker flies away in them

Uk Spot: The Swedish Chef sings Mack the Knife.

Backstage:Floyd is about to give up but Suzanne says he should be himself and she sings Personality with the Muppets singing to Floyd

Vet's Hospital:A Whatnot Man from the opening number is the patient

Backstage:Everybody loves Floyd old style so much Kermit lets Floyd introduce the closing number

Introduction:Floyd introduces Suzanne in the Closing Number

Closing Number: Suzanne sings "New York New York" with The Mutations.

Goodnights:Suzanne,Kermit, Floyd, Bunsen, Beaker, Rizzo, and Janice all appear in front of the curtain
