TMS 30th Anniversary Product Idea Thread

This year should be the 30th anniversary of The Muppet Show. What kinds of products would you like to see to celebrate?

I think it might be too soon to release some new action figures, although it would be great if Disney and Palisades arranged to make a special deal to release a number of new figures, like the Veterinarian's Hospital cast, Louis Kazagger, George the Janitor, Mildred, Hilda, Wayne, Wanda, and some of the monsters.

An anniversary album would also be nice, perhaps a four-disc set, including a lot of previously unreleased songs. Some new compilation videos would also be sweet.

I would also like an anniversary trivia game or book. Maybe a line of anniversary plush or beanies would be great.

It seems like the wait between the 25th and 30th anniversary has gone by faster than the 30th and 35th anniversaries of Sesame Street.

Here's an idea for a 30th anniversary PVC collection. Each series would have ten boxes, each with one or two characters. The packaging design would represent the arches. There would also be a special ediition multi-pack set alongside each series.

Another great idea would be for a set of cards. Unlike the 25th anniversary trading cards set, which, as I understand (I've never seen those cards in person), only included 25 cards, all in the same package (which kind of defeats the purpose of trading, eh?), this set would include a lot more cards, including cards of some of the more obscure characters.

Considering Henson made every possible piece of merchindise during the 25th anniversary and that last a couple of years, I don't really want to see anything for the 30th other than box sets of shows.

The best way for Disney to celebrate 30th anniversary of The Muppet Show is if they released some of the " Playhouse Videos" series in packages. Since, Disney is releasing "The Muppet Show: Complete Second Season" in 2007, and fans might get impatient for a while. I am thinking this would work properly.
