Let's call it "Today's letter of the thread is D!"
I have so many memories that are sponsored by the letter D.
Now here they are...

Ernie sings the "Dee Dee Dee" song-When I saw it on the video, "The Alphabet Game" Cookie Monster reveals out the D goodies on what Ernie sings and on both SS and MC Radio, Bert says, "Ernie, do you know what letter comes next after C?" Then Ernie begins to sing this song. That'd be available on the album, "Sesame Street: Sing the Alphabet".

The "D, D, D, D, Daddy Dear" animation was freaky! I didn't recall much of it as a kid, but when I saw this on Sesame Street Unpaved at the Museum of Television & Radio on Nov. 5, it featured dogs dreaming of meat and gophers hiding their candy bars was fine, but ducks wearing ears was strange and the freakiest things I saw were the dandy lion with a lion's head and daisies wearing female human's faces and feet!

"This is the letter D"-It was an early animated/live-action mix about the letter D. I used to love it as a baby, and I saw it again on Unpaved and it was great! It starts with the animals that begin with D, then to the people that start with D and any other stuff that begin with D that end with a cartoon man daydreaming in the dandy lion fields. This was similar to the M, N and T ones I saw as a kid.

The "D-Dart" cartoon segment

I remember seeing the part of the very early D segment from the A&E Biography special on tape and it goes like this:
Late last week
A real old dog
Who was digging in the terrible fog
He throws the dice of the log
And met a duck
Which it's kissed by a frog

Hope you guys got the other D memories!

Here are some you may want to add:
1 Dee Dee O'Day and the Dewdrops singing "Oh D!"
2 The short limerick about D Dog where a dog named Fred sat on his head and howled until he was fed.
3 The short animation segment where a lower case d tries to fit itself into a weird-shaped maze where at least a few d's are carved out, and then at the end all the lower d's join together into one single d.
4 The AlphaQuest segment about the letter D.

Hope this helps you out.

I remembered the "A" and "D" versions of the weird maze as a kid!!

I also remembered...

A strange-looking thing turns into a "D" as Luis's off-screen voice says "D!" Then it turns into a drum then to a lower-case "d" as he says, "d!"

The Typewriter Guy D-Daisy: He sees (and hears!) the daisies growing out of ground, so he types "d" and leaves going "Noo-nee-noo-nee-noo..." until he was crashed! Then he grows like a daisy and types "Daisy!" Then a REAL large daisy grows on top of him!
