I had this experience before in high school. As others have pointed out, rest your voice and refrain from talking too much. Speak as little as possible for a couple of days. Also, I learned from my choir director that you should NOT drink milk. I do love milk, and I drank it while my voice was down, but it didn't help. Drink lots of H2O instead.

Have you tried gargling w/warm salt water? Or how about breathing in steam? And yeah, try resting it too. Good luck with your performance! :smile:
