I was just looking at threads that I've posted in the past. One of them was titled "I SERIOUSLY WANT TO KICK MY FRIEND'S SISTER'S BUTT!" My friend & her sister's mom had just passed away & the sister was listed as married on one of the social networks. All her mother wanted was her girls to be married. So I was upset. (My friend was engaged over 20 years ago but the guy turned out to be an idiot. So she broke off the engagement) Anyway, back to the sister. I talked to her about a month after I saw the "Married" status & she said she was kidding! So,okay...whew!
Now some of you know, but some may not know, but my friend passed away a month ago. She had heart trouble. Needless to say I miss her. Her sister is here from out of town (she's here partially to help her dad with my friend's stuff & also to help him move. She's been staying with us.) We've become good friends. Of course I have no intention on taking her sister's place. (I know that 13 months ago I was wondering what the fork was going on with her. But she's honestly a sweet person! :halo: )
Can I ask a favor? If anyone's going to offer sympathy to me about my friend, that's fine. But PLEASE don't get all preachy & bring religion into it. all right? Thanks

Thanks Linkie comforting hugs back
The one thing that I have comfort in is that her brother died in 1992 and they had a really close relationship. After he died, she wasn't really herself. After her mom passed away last year she (my friend) sunk even further So I think my friend is happy in Heaven now with her brother & mother now.:halo:

I bet her mother and brother had a big smile on in Heaven to see their sister/daughter again. :halo: <3

But, then, I hope your friend is doing okay. <3 :sympathy:

Kathy, I know myself it takes a long time for wounds to heal over, and scars of the heart don't fully go away. So I hope you'll accept an empathetic hug from a short person with glasses. Your friend's sister/new friend too. :sympathy:

Of course I do! a person who is also short with glasses hugs you back
It'll take a while. But I'll be okay. I only wish that she had come w/me on the cruise in January. My mother, her boyfriend (AKA my friend's dad) and I had had some pictures taken & they came out nice. If she had been with us, we would have had some nice pics with her in them.
