I don't think this is actually Henson Alternative, but it's along those lines. I just got this email from the Steve Allen Theater in Los Angeles:

"When **** is full, puppets shall walk the earth. The ultimate zombie puppet horror comedy 'THEY COMING' is finally here. Fleece and flesh will fly in this action-packed gore-filled journey into madness! Three young travelers stop at an isolated house in the desert to find that something is waiting for them—a virus so powerful it can transform its victims into cannibalistic puppets! Come see the bizarre short film from the director of Metalocalypse and the creature builders of The Jim Henson Creature Shop. Featuring musical score by Brendon Small (Home Movies, Metalocalypse). Free admission and beer while supplies last! ONE NIGHT ONLY, TUES. OCT. 19th at 9pm! FREE!"

Unfortunately, I haven't found any more information about it. I might go check it out. Any thoughts?
