The sofa of my dreams...

Back in the 70's 80's when i was a kid there was this swedish show on tv where a man would sit in a sofa and read a book. Not very amuzing, is it. Except for the sofa the guy was sitting in. I watched this show just for the sofa. I used to dream about owning a sofa like that.
Must have been a cool sofa you might say. Well, have a look here.
Why am i posting this? Well, i'm trying to find out about the origins of the sofa. I doubt that it was made especially for the television-show. So, has anyone seen this sofa before, and perhaps knows the brandname of it? Perhaps you had a friend in the 70's with a sofa just like it? Please let me know, because it is the coolest sofa in history. I kid you not.
