Joe Raposo's jazzy, breezy music set to the live action films sort of epitomizes all that is great about classic SS for me. Remove those sections, and you remove much of the "essence" of what made the show so great back then. Does anyone agree?

The music directors at SS apparently failed to recognize that that light jazzy sound was "their sound", and to deviate from that for the sake of more "modern" trends was to decline from the older, more classic mood of the series.
