This was another one of those funny skits (maybe annoying to some). The conductor is waving his baton while the piano player starts playing some familiar bars of music. Then the violin player starts in and almost immediately starts to "streak" off key completely...causing the conductor to shout out "STOP"! The skit then repeats itself twice over with the same results but after the 3rd time after repeated orders from the conductor to stop, he snaps his baton and screams out once more..."STOP"!!!!!. The violinist finally stops causing the conductor to point towrd the door of the studio and tell the violinist..."GO"!!!! (as to say "you're fired"). As he disappears from camera range, there is a tremendous off screen crash causing the camera to shake. Does anyone know who these characters were? That conductor looked somewhat familiar.

I remember this skit well. I made a thread about it myself awhile ago called Conductor sacks Violinist.
Somebody replied saying he thought the crashing noise could have been the violinist slamming the door in rage.
I can't remember anything else from my thread offhand though.
But anyway it really is a good classic skit.

Ah I see somebody else has just posted a link to my own thread.
Thanks. I have never learned how to do that myself
